Millions for advertising. Grealish will play in Puma for £10 million per year

In the summer of 2021, attacking midfielder Jack Grealish moved from Aston Villa to Manchester City for £100 million. This transfer made headlines as the most expensive one involving British players.

Grealish quickly became a key and irreplaceable player in Pep Guardiola. The Golden 2022/23 season was remarkable, with Grealish’s team becoming the English champion, winning the FA Cup, and achieving the long-awaited UEFA Champions League victory.

Breaking another record, Grealish is set to earn a staggering £50 million over the next five years for wearing Puma boots, as reported by the Daily Mail. That’s £10 million per year! In the UK, Grealish surpasses others in this category – Welsh national team player Gareth Bale and England’s Harry Kane receive ‘just’ about £4 million annually.

Globally, Puma and Grealish have made a significant impact, with only five players earning more for advertising boots than the Englishman!
